Welcome to San Blas! San Blas is a beautiful town located in the historical center of Cusco that preserves its colonial style. This town is built over “T’oqokachi”, an ancient Inca neighborhood, which is characterized by its narrow and steep streets as wells as the houses which already preserve its construction of colonial style. This town is located two blocks from Plaza de Armas (Main Square) of Cusco and is traditionally known as the “Barrio de los Artesanos” (artisans’ quarter) of the city. Here, you can find sculpture, painting, textiles, carpentry work, jewelry and even workshops through a walking tour of the neighborhood. Eureka is located a block away from the church, located in the Plazoleta of San Blas, which is the main neighborhood attractive, not only for its history but also for its art pieces - kept inside the church – such as the pulpit carved from cedar and considered as the most important art piece.
